“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
1 Timothy 1:17
What a fitting end to that verse…Paul really nailed when he was inspired to write that .There is a point where God takes over and the only response left is giving Him the praise due to His name.
The theme for this year’s Youth week was seek and save and the king really showed up. He proclaimed that He was the light of the World and then gave the church the mandate and purpose of being the light of the World too. He reminded us that it’s the gospel message that saved us and that will keep us. In His wisdom he knew that the same cross that would be for His death would become our lives. He dies so we could become the righteousness of God. To assist you in that thought look at a World that is lost and then you realize the value and heavenly treasure of being the righteousness of God. A truly breath-taking moment.
The King does not want us to feel helpless in reaching His world. He called us all out to live out on the backside of nowhere with Him. Really that is where he will equip us with what we need to live for Him .King David was the Prime example.
This event would not have been complete without help and support from NCC students who came to share it with the young people of Quebec ,they were a blessing to Us and they were a great support in fighting the battle, we crossed some rivers with them, they left an impact in us that we will continue to reap from. We walked the streets with them as we reached and toured the city of Montreal. Together we witnessed the need of our city, but beyond the need the realization that we hold the keys to unlocking the kingdom and bringing the Kingdom to our city is what grips us the most.
There is a realization in us that we are truly the freedom generation. That’s worth a shout. Victory is ours. He died so we could have it. Living for God and being apostolic is all we are and God keeps proving Himself all the time to us. There is only one way to go and that is forward, not forgetting that Jesus set us in motion. Our passion will not die because He is our passion.
