Prayer Summit 2012 : Event Report

With our excellent hosts at UPC Montreal, we kicked off the summit with a group prayer circle.  Our voices were raised for one goal and a war cry was heard against the enemies’ strong hold.

Starting with prayer basics, we learned that our prayer is a relationship. We were encouraged to have a real conversation with God. To be real and not to have a plastic prayer.

On compassion, we were compelled to get back God’s love in our heart and let that love grow from compassion to a passion. A passion for souls. The word of God goes hand in hand with prayer.

Fresh from the word, we were challenged to claim the promises of God in our daily prayer life. Promises that have a purpose, not just for show, but with God’s desire to build our lives for him.

We then released the power of the prayer of agreement.  Matthew 18:19, speaks thus:

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Nuff said!!

To wrap up, we were encouraged to work in unity. No matter who we are, no matter where we belong, our goal are souls. We concluded with a storm against the strongholds of this province and nation and an intercession for our  generation globally. This is the generation that will see the biggest revival in man’s recorded history!!

Greater things are not yet to come. They are already here!!

To Jesus be the Glory!!
